With the bye week gone, Bills coach Sean McDermott reprised his weekly appearance on WGR-550 radio with Schopp and The Bulldog. The Bills coach chatted with Schopp and Bulldog on whether he's watching Monday Night Football or baseball tonight, whether he enjoyed his bye week — and what goes into the logistics, both during the bye and changes after, as well as the timeline of growing a team.
McDermott also talked about the upcoming Buccaneers game, his usage of NFL's Red Zone package, how the Bills utilize analytics in game day decision making, and updates on injured players such as Cordy Glenn and the recently-returned-from-suspension Seantrel Henderson.
Sean McDermott: "We're still so young and we're trying to build — the players still haven't seen, haven't mastered the entire playbook."
Sean McDermott on analytics: "I like certainly that information, but at the end of the day ... it aids in the decision, but it does not make the decision for us."
Sean McDermott on Cordy Glenn potentially getting his left tackle job back: "It absolutely is. We're going to take a hard look at it this week and put the best person out there that can do the job."
