Harry Wilson, the 2010 Republican candidate for state comptroller and acknowledged expert in turning around troubled companies, will speak at Daemen College at noon Saturday as part of its Leadership Lecture Series.
Wilson continues to make the rounds across New York State as he eyes a challenge to Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo next year, and is sure to re-establish his significant GOP contacts during his weekend visit.
Others mentioned as possible gubernatorial candidates in 2018 include Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro, State Sen. John DeFrancisco of Syracuse and Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb of Canandaigua.
Wilson’s presentation – “Turnaround Wars – Life Lessons from Business and Politics” – is slated for the college’s MusicalFare Cabaret.
