North Tonawanda man pleads guilty in Porter burglary

Ryan Petersen of North Tonawanda became the first of three suspects to plead guilty in connection with a burglary in Porter last year.

Petersen, 26, of Oakdale Drive, accepted a plea offer to a reduced charge of attempted second-degree burglary. He could be imprisoned for as long as seven years when he is sentenced Dec. 14 by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.

The crime occurred June 13, 2016, at a home on Brayley Road. Indictments remain pending against two co-defendants: Mellissa A. Walker, 28, of Orangeport Road, Hartland, and Matthew D. Miller, 32, of Kayner Road, Royalton.
