A 21-year-old Buffalo man fired two shots at his father Monday morning during a confrontation about why his dad had called police on him the previous day, according to a Buffalo police report.
The father was not hit by the gunfire.
Monday's encounter happened at about 9 a.m. in the city's Central Park Plaza neighborhood, near the intersection of Rodney Avenue and Hill Street.
Police are investigating and trying to locate the son, police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said in an email.
No information was immediately available from police about the incident that happened Sunday that triggered the confrontation the next day.
