Elizabeth K. Mitchell and Anthony J. Cumbo were married at noon May 20, 2017, in St. Joseph Cathedral, Buffalo, where the Rev. Peter Drilling heard their vows. Guests gathered for a reception in the Marquis Ballroom in the Hotel Lafayette. The bride is the daughter of Sally and Joseph Mitchell of Syracuse. A graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School, she earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University at Buffalo. She is a food technologist at Rich Products. The bridegroom, son of Jennifer and Vincent Cumbo of Buffalo, is a graduate of City Honors High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from Valparaiso University and a masters degree in business administration from Medaille College. He is a production planner at PCB Piezotronics. After a trip to Cancun, the couple is living in Amherst.
