Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will travel to Washington this week, and while his full schedule hasn't been released, it includes a meeting with members of the House Ways and Means Committee -- including Reps. Brian Higgins and Tom Reed.
Trudeau will be in town to press his nation's concerns about the renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement. President Trump has threatened to withdraw from the treaty, arguing that it costs the United States manufacturing jobs.
Higgins, a Buffalo Democrat, and Reed, a Corning Republican, and their Ways and Means colleagues are scheduled to meet with Trudeau on Wednesday, Higgins' office said.
