Genesee County Sheriff's deputies charged a Depew man with felony driving while intoxicated early Sunday morning after a traffic stop in Pembroke, authorities said.
Steven R. Obara, 34, was pulled over on Route 33 just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday, the Sheriff's Office said. Deputies did not provide Obara's alleged blood-alcohol content.
In addition to the DWI charge, Obara also was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding, not wearing a seatbelt and driving with an expired inspection, authorities said.
After he was arraigned in Pembroke Town Court, he was held in lieu of $500 cash or $1,000 bond, with a scheduled court date of Nov. 2.
