First-down deep post to A.J. Green
Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton has taken a couple deep shots per game on first-down plays per game this season. His pass protection has been inconsistent, and the first-down, play-action fake gives him a bit more time. This one went for 50 yards to star A.J Green against Houston in Week Two, despite the fact the Texans essentially had Green triple-covered in a three-deep zone.
Green blew past the safety (21) on his side of the field. Two Texans cornerbacks (25 and 24) were in position to make a play on the ball, but Green out-jumped both of them for the reception. The Bills have not allowed a reception longer than 39 yards this season.
