For the second-consecutive week, Stephen Hauschka was excellent in a Bills victory.
Buffalo's kicker made two 50-plus field goals, again, which is basically unheard of.
He's already tied for fourth in team history for 50-yard field goals.
Let's take a look at how the free-agent acquisition has performed for the Bills through four games compared to the man he replaced, Dan Carpenter.
Field goals (through four games)
2017 Hauschka: 8/9
2016 Carpenter: 6/8
A season ago, Carpenter made three of four field goals in the Bills win over the Patriots. The made kicks were 34, 43, and 47 yards. He missed a 44-yard field goal.
Before Week Three's performance from Hauschka, no Bills kicker had ever made two 50-plus yard field goals in the same game. Then, he did the same thing the next week. Amazing.
Hauschka connected on a 55-yard field goal and a 56-yard kick to go along with a 24-yarder in the fourth quarter.
Carpenter was 1 of 2 on 50-yard field goals for the entire 2016 season. Hauschka is already 4 of 4 on 50-yard kicks with the Bills this year.
2017 Hauschka: 7/7
2016 Carpenter: 5/6
Carpenter made his lone extra-point attempt in Week Four in 2016. Hauschka made both extra points against the Falcons a week ago.
