First Assistant District Attorney Holly E. Sloma said Jenkins, 35, of Witmer Road, was under investigation in connection with an Aug. 1 attack when investigators learned he was allegedly involved with an unsolved sexual assault from March 3, 2015.

Judge Matthew J. Murphy III, who had previously issued two search warrants in the case, doubled Jenkins' bail to $200,000 after hearing Sloma's account.

One of the counts in the indictment is predatory sexual assault, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison if Jenkins is convicted of the charge.
