M&T Bank will donate $300,000 to the American Red Cross to assist victims of hurricanes Irma and Maria, and the Mexico earthquake.
The final amount could be even higher. M&T has pledged to match all contributions made to the Red Cross by its employees, directors and retirees for up to an additional $100,000.
"The number of communities experiencing devastation continues to rise, as does the need for relief," said Robert G. Wilmers, M&T's chairman and CEO.
M&T previously donated $150,000 and committed to $100,000 in matching funds for relief efforts with Hurricane Harvey.
M&T will accept donations from the public benefiting the Red Cross at its more than 775 branches.
