Buffalo woman charged with crashing stolen vehicle into parked car, fence

A Buffalo woman has been charged with stealing a car that crashed through a fence and struck a parked car near the Cheektowaga border, according to a Buffalo police report.

Shawniece N. Dixon, 29, of Davidson Avenue, is accused of stealing a car at about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday on Fisher Street and crashing about a half-mile away on South Domedion Street, according to the report.

Police officers found Dixon behind the wheel of the damaged Dodge Durango. The report did not indicate whether she was injured.

Dixon was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle and fourth- and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, according to the police report.
