The Buffalo Public Schools will host its annual High School Showcase from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Lewis J. Bennett High School of Innovative Technology, 2885 Main St.
The event for families of seventh- and eighth-grade students allows them to learn about the 18 different high school options available, including new innovative programs such as computer science and software engineering, criminal justice, bioinformatics and life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and the Urban Teacher Academy.
Families will be able to talk to high school representatives about the application process and requirements, as well as concerns about high school. They also will be able to get information about the Say Yes to Education scholarships and grants.
