16-year-old charged with shooting Cheektowaga teen

Buffalo police have charged a 16-year-old with a shooting 10 days ago near the Ferry-Grider homes.

Jarrmel Peterson was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree assault and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, Buffalo police posted on Facebook.

The 18-year-old female victim was shot multiple times just before 9 p.m. Sept. 18 in the 100 block of Donovan Drive, near the Ferry-Grider Homes.
