Buffalo police have purchased a Long Range Acoustic Device to use to break up unruly crowds or possibly for SWAT teams in cases of a barricaded suspect, police say. In the YouTube video below, The Long Range Acoustic Device was used for the first time in Pittsburgh to break up the G20 Summit protest in 2009.
