Video game problem leads to real-life violence

NIAGARA FALLS – An argument over a broken video game controller led to a Saturday morning fistfight that left one woman injured and another in jail.
A 33-year-old Niagara Falls Boulevard woman told police that she went to a home in the 400 block of 27th Street just after 2 a.m., where several people were hanging out. An argument erupted over the broken controller, and police said that an earlier altercation may have also factored into the equation.
The victim told police that Jessica M. Williams grabbed her, dragged her outside and began furiously punching her in the face. The woman suffered what appeared to be minor injuries.
Williams, 27,  of North Seventh Street, Lewiston, was charged with third degree assault.
