Buffalo police looking for tips on overnight shooting

A Buffalo man was treated and released from the Erie County Medical Center for an overnight shooting that may have been a drive-by incident.

Buffalo police said the 24-year-old man was driven to the hospital in a civilian vehicle after he was shot just before 3:30 a.m. Saturday. The incident appears to have happened at East Lovejoy and Ideal streets, according to detectives. They are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the shooting.
