Two men were shot Thursday night on the 300 block of Leroy Avenue, according to Buffalo police.

Both victims were shot shortly after 9 p.m. and taken to Erie County Medical Center, police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said in an email.

The 300 block of Leroy is north of Kensington Avenue and east of Fillmore Avenue.

Police ask anyone with information about the shooting to call or text the department's confidential tip line at 716-847-2255.
