Bylsma to hit the airwaves as NHL Network analyst

Deposed Sabres coach Dan Bylsma won't be behind a bench this season while he continues to collect Terry Pegula's money but he won't be sitting idly either.

Bylsma has been hired by NHL Network as a studio analyst, joining a group of hires that includes former NHL enforcer Stu Grimson and longtime New Jersey defenseman Ken Daneyko.

Bylsma is no stranger to television work, as he called games for NHL Network during the 2015 World Junior Championships -- including the Connor McDavid-Jack Eichel showdown in Montreal on New Year's Eve, 2014. He also appeared as a studio guest for three days in May during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
