$3,375 in lottery tickets stolen from Riverside Market

What happens when you don't have the dollar, but you still have the dream – and the munchies?

A convenience store in Riverside found out Sunday, when it was burglarized after someone broke through the front window and stole $3,375 worth of lottery tickets – and $15 in snack chips – store representatives told police.

The theft took place around 3 a.m. at the Riverside Market, 740 Tonawanda St. A Buffalo police summary of the incident didn't identify the type of lottery tickets, or the chips, taken from the store. It's not clear whether more than one person was involved in the burglary, which remains under investigation.
