Motorcyclist injured Sunday in crash near Zoar Valley

A motorcyclist was injured after losing control of the bike Sunday afternoon while riding near Zoar Valley, the Erie County Sheriff's Office reported.

The operator, who was not identified, was riding on Zoar Valley Road in Concord, east of the Zoar Valley Multi Use Area, just before 2 p.m. and lost control of the bike, putting it down on the road, said Scott Zylka, a Sheriff's Office spokesman.

The motorcyclist was taken to an unnamed local hospital with an upper body injury, Zylka said. No further information was immediately available.
