DOBBINS, Patrick G.

DOBBINS, Patrick G. -Patrick was the longest living paraplegic in the U.S. He was so proud of the statistic. At the time of the accident, doctors gave you 20 years to live; you beat their odds and you lived 30 more years. You fought so hard and traveled a long, rough road for 50 years. You endured grueling challenges and obstacles, defied the odds, and proved the doctors wrong. You have touched the lives of so many people. Colleen said it the best: I have only known this man a short time, but he has captured my heart forever. Patrick had a certain magnetism about him, and he was loved by all. He touched the lives of thousands, even strangers. His most important words were thank you, and thank you so much. You had strength, courage and determination to never give up. You inspired all of us. We have no doubt that you and you riding your
electric scooter will be missed on the streets of Snyder, Amherst and Cheektowaga. Rest in peace. Handprint on my heart and see you on the other side. Love,
WENDY
