Reckless owners give good pit bulls a bad reputation
I am deeply sympathetic to Daisy Moore, portrayed on the front page of The News’ Sept. 10 Sunday paper. She has had two separate pit bull attacks on her small dogs.
I too, have a dog that has been bitten twice and has never bitten anyone or any animal. My family rescued our pit bull two years ago from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter.
My family has worked diligently to train and socialize our pit bull. The responsibility comes from the ownership that molds the dog. Irresponsible breeders and dog owners account for dog attacks. My pit bull is the most loving dog in my neighborhood with a bad reputation he doesn’t deserve.
