18 restaurants to compete in Buffalo's second annual Meatball Street Brawl

The Italian restaurant Osteria 166, which won top prize in Buffalo’s first Meatball Street Brawl competition last year, will defend its title against 17 other local restaurants beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday on West Mohawk Street between Delaware Avenue and Franklin Street.

Also returning will be Mid-Town Kitchen and Sinatra’s, which last year were declared Best Freestyle Meatball and Best Traditional Meatball, respectively.

In addition to meatballs, those attending can enjoy bread from DiCamillo Bakery, wines from Mama Mia and beers from five Western New York breweries. The Bills game will be shown on a large outdoor screen.

Tickets are $15 advance, $20 on Sunday. Advance tickets are available at participating restaurants and online at meatballstreetbrawl.com.
