Two leaders of the Western New York chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization will attend an entrepreneurship event on Sept. 18 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
The local chapter's global chairman, Brian Brault and its president, J.P. Midgley, will represent the local entrepreneurial community to engage in conversations with business leaders in the UN General Assembly’s SDG Media Zone.
Attendees will discuss social change and progress in the world of business.
Organizers of the Western New York group said it is one of the fastest growing chapters in this worldwide organization, and said the United Nations event represents "a conscious commitment" to social goals such as sustainable cities, gender equality and the elimination of hunger.
Brault is the chief executive officer and owner of PURE Solutions North America, an environmental health company, and Midgley is CEO of Avalon Document Services.
"Entrepreneurs are the driving force behind job growth in this city. We know how to get things done," Midgley said.
