Marrano/Marc Equity has finished laying the roads leading into its planned, 130-unit Windstone development and soon will begin construction of the model home for the $42 million subdivision in Amherst.
The model patio home should be completed within a few months, said David DePaolo, Marrano/Marc Equity's executive vice president.
Marrano is building patio homes, townhomes and condominiums in three phases. The subdivision is located between Sheridan Drive and Main Street, to the east of Youngs Road and next to Marrano’s $76 million, 117-unit Greythorne patio home community.
Marrano on Tuesday paid $3.8 million for the 20-acre Windstone site, allowing the company to take title to the property and start building and selling the homes. The seller was the 50-50 joint venture between Marrano and Cimato Enterprises that developed the land.
