Two major projects that have drawn the ire of some neighbors are back on the agenda of the Amherst Planning Board for its meeting Thursday, Sept. 14.
The board will hold its first public hearing since January on the $250 million plan to reuse the former Westwood Country Club site. Mensch Capital Partners' plans for the property include a mix of housing for 1,700, retail and commercial space and parkland. The Planning Board is weighing a request to rezone 140 of the site's 171 acres.
The Planning Board on Thursday also will review Ciminelli Real Estate Corp.'s proposed $50 million, 133-home Muir Woods subdivision, after putting off action in August.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 5583 Main St., Williamsville, preceded by a work session at 6.
