Country legend Kenny Rogers brings his "Christmas and Hits Tour" to the area in a special concert to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Western New York. This will be your last chance to see the Grammy Award-winning artist who has been on a farewell tour that includes a star-studded farewell concert Oct. 25 in Nashville.
The area concert is 8 p.m. Dec. 6 at the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts. Tickets are $60 to $80 reserved seats and go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 15 at the box office and ticketfly.com.
All money raised will go to the Ronald McDonald House which supports families dealing with childhood injuries and illnesses who are being treated at area hospitals.
“I’ve been so lucky to have enjoyed such a long career and to have such amazing support from my fans and all who have helped me along the way, but there comes a time when I need to focus on spending time with my family," Rogers said in a statement when he announced the farewell tour. "I don’t have a bucket list of my own…I have a bucket list of things I want to do with them.”
