Buffalo man stabbed, punched by attackers in hoodies

A Buffalo man who was stabbed and punched early Saturday on Schrek Avenue was treated at Erie County Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

Buffalo police said Pavel Gonzalez, 40, suffered a stab wound on his left side and one of his eyes was discolored and half-closed due to the assault, which took place in the Bailey-East Delavan avenues area.

Gonzalez told police that two men wearing hoodies assaulted him.

There have been no arrests.
