A Hamburg man was arrested by State Police and accused of allegedly sending sexually explicit photographs to two minors, State Police said.
Michael C. McFarland, 19, faces charges of first-degree and second-degree disseminating indecent material to a minor, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to State Police on Friday.
According to State Police, McFarland was arrested Wednesday, following an investigation by the agency's Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation revealed that McFarland allegedly sent sexually explicit pictures and messages to two juveniles, ages 12 and 14, via his cellphone, State Police said.
McFarland was arraigned in Yorkshire Town Court, authorities said. He is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.
