Another large open casting call is taking place for "The True Adventures of Wolfboy," a feature film being made in the Buffalo area this month.
The filmmakers are again seeking hundreds of extras for "Carnival Day," a scene which will be shot with lead cast members from the film. The shoot dates are Sept. 18, 19, 20 and 21 but attendance is not required for all four days.
The casting call is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 9 at Niagara County Community College, Fine Arts Building in Sanborn. Again, the process is simple: Bring a photo I.D. to register for the filming. People of all ages - from kids to adults - are needed for the volunteer positions.
On the filming of "Carnival Day," the production will provide parking and meals, as well as raffle tickets for the chance to win prizes throughout the day.
The coming-of-age movie stars Emmy Award winning actor John Turturro, Jaeden Lieberher (now on screen in the new adaptation of Stephen King's "It"), Chris Messina, Eve Hewson, Chloe Sevigny and Michelle Wilson. It is directed by Martin Krejci.
