LeSean McCoy misses Thursday's Bills practice

Star running back LeSean McCoy was not on the field as the Buffalo Bills started practice Thursday morning.

McCoy was held out because of a stomach bug, according to a team spokesman. His status for Sunday's season opener against the New York Jets is unclear at the time.

Also not present at the start of practice were defensive tackle Jerel Worthy (concussion) and rookie linebacker Tanner Vallejo (knee).
