North Tonawanda police are looking for the driver of a smaller white SUV who struck a bicyclist on Aug. 18.

The bicyclist, who was not seriously injured, was hit at about 7 p.m. at the intersection of Webster and Goundry streets, the department posted on Facebook on Wednesday.

The vehicle, which may be a Toyota RAV4, had a vanity license plate with letters like "BABY," "BABBY" or "BABYY," police said. The driver was described as a white woman with a thin build who may be in her 50s, 60s or 70s. The collision damaged the bicycle.

Police ask anyone with information to call the North Tonawanda Police Detective Bureau at 716-692-4312 or send the department a message on Facebook.
