Victims of hurricane need our prayers, help
After watching the TV, listening to the stories of relatives and reading the paper, I was thinking of the victims of Hurricane Harvey and came across the following passages: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. … Do not be afraid, I am with you.” Isaiah 43.
I continue to see the people of Texas struggling with this major disaster. I see their strength weakening, and pray for the power of God to put the wind back in its place, and to say to the waters: “Peace! Be still!”
May we all pray that our brothers and sisters may be saved from the surging waters and that those working to save the lives of others be blessed.
