Frewsburg man arrested on charges of menacing

A Frewsburg man was arrested Tuesday and accused of allegedly brandishing a knife and threatening the lives of two minors, according to State Police.

John Dallas, 43, was charged with second-degree menacing, according to State Police.

Troopers were called to Hazzard Street in Jamestown in response to the report of a disturbance, State Police said.

According to State Police, Dallas was arrested at the scene.

He was taken to the State Police barracks in Jamestown, where he was booked and issued an appearance ticket. Dallas is scheduled to appear in Carroll Town Court at a later date.
