A 51-year-old of Belfast man was arrested Saturday for felony driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated unlicensed operation after being stopped for an equipment violation, State Police reported Monday.
Troopers stopped Scott D. Fuller on Merton Street, smelled alcohol and conducted field sobriety tests, which they said Fuller failed. He was transported to the Amity barracks for processing where he refused to provide a breath sample. His DWI charge is a felony due to a prior conviction within 10 years. He also was operating with a driver's license that was previously revoked due to a DWI conviction, troopers said.
He was arraigned in Town of Friendship Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $1,000 cash/$2,000 bond and is due in Town of Belfast Court on Sept. 12.
