Buffalo man sentenced to six years in prison after cocaine bust

Michael Early, a 32-year-old Buffalo man convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, was sentenced to six years in prison by Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny, acting U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy Jr. announced Thursday.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Joel L. Violanti, who handled the case, said officers from the Drug Enforcement Administration and Buffalo Police Department executed a search warrant on Sept. 27, 2013, at 66 Connelly Avenue in Buffalo.

During the search, officers found crack cocaine and $6,495 in cash.
