Jamestown man who pleaded guilty in killings of wife, stepson sentenced

A Jamestown man who admitted killing his wife and stepson will serve 20-year concurrent sentences in prison following his sentencing Tuesday in Chautauqua County Court, officials said.

Allen P. Witruke, 53, will also have five years of supervised release, according to Chautauqua County District Attorney Patrick Swanson.

Allen Witruke pleaded guilty on May 4 to two counts of first-degree manslaughter in connection with the killings of Catherine Witruke, 52, and her son, Eric Washburn, 34, in 2015, according to the District Attorney's Office.

The bodies of the two were found on Dec. 8, 2015, by Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies after they entered the Witrukes' home on Barrows Street in Jamestown, to execute an eviction notice, according to the DA's Office.

According to deputies, Allen Witruke had beaten and stabbed Washburn to death and stabbed Catherine Witruke to death, the DA's Office said. He fled to Olean, where he was located by Olean Police.
