Linda M. Gimbrone, of Buffalo, a server at the Buffalo Club, died unexpectedly Wednesday in Buffalo General Medical Center after suffering a stroke. She was 61.
Born in Buffalo, the former Linda Haley attended Lafayette High School. A lifelong city resident except for a few years in Greenville, S.C., she was the mother of four children.
Mrs. Gimbrone was a waitress in several restaurants before becoming a server at the Buffalo Club, where she worked for 22 years.
Survivors include her husband, Vincent; two sons, Ronald Werner and Carl Wagner Jr.; two daughters, Nicole Beresniewicz and Jennifer Davis; two brothers, Michael Haley and John Clunie; a sister, Juliet Clunie; a longtime friend, Diana Hehl; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held a 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19 in the Buffalo Club, 388 Delaware Ave.
