Police arrested a woman who authorities said robbed a Bank of America branch in Cheektowaga on Friday afternoon, according to Cheektowaga Police.
According to Cheektowaga Police, the woman walked inside the bank on Harlem Road and handed a teller a note demanding money. The teller complied and handed the woman cash, and she fled on foot, town police said.
Police searched the area and found the individual at the Community Charter School on Edison Street in Buffalo, where she was arrested, according to Cheektowaga Police.
Police have not released the woman's name or the charges.
