GOOD READS – An estimated 70,000 books will be for sale at bargain prices from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday as the North Tonawanda History Museum, 54 Webster St., North Tonawanda, holds its seasonal used book sale.
Paperbacks are 50 cents or three for $1. Hardcover books are $1 each or three for $2. Shoppers also can purchase a bag for $5 and fill it with books. Museum staffers also promise that many books will be sorted by category and genre.

REUNION ALERT – The Class of 1962 at Niagara Falls High School will hold their 45th anniversary reunion from 7 to 11 p.m. Aug. 11 in the Como Restaurant, 2220 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls.
Cost is $25 at the door and includes food and beverages. For more information, call 260-1354.

ERIN GO BRAGH – Those who are Irish and Catholic and want to celebrate their heritage are invited to a Pub Night hosted by the Knights of Equity and the Daughters of Erin from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in the Buffalo Irish Center, 245 Abbott Road.
There will be pizza, wings, a cash bar and live entertainment from Kevin McCarthy.

TEE IT UP – The People Inc. Foundation will hold its 16th annual Drive Fore Disabilities Golf Tournament and Auction Aug. 21 at the Orchard Park Country Club, 4777 S. Buffalo St., Orchard Park.
Tee-off times are 7:30 a.m. for the morning round and 12:30 p.m. for the afternoon round.
The day includes lunch, a golfer gift, a cocktail hour with a silent auction at 5 p.m. and a gourmet dinner and awards at 6 p.m.
An online pre-auction, offering vacations, jewelry and sports memorabilia, will begin Monday at biddingforgood.com/peopleinc.
