Letter: Trump Jr. may be guilty of colluding with Russians

Trump Jr. may be guilty of colluding with Russians

In order to determine if the recent news on the secret meeting of Donald Trump Jr. with people from Russia and the issue of being guilty of collusion, we need to determine the definition of “collusion.”

The main aspect is that collusion is a secret meeting between two or more people to obtain something that is prohibited by law.

Now in Mr. Trump Jr.’s case, he did attend a secret meeting and there were eight people. He had been promised that there would be damaging information from the Russians at the meeting against the Hillary Clinton campaign. The fact that he did not actually receive any such information would be immaterial. The key here was that he stayed for the entire meeting.

Furthermore, his “intent” was to receive something that wasn’t legal. Therefore, in my opinion what should have been reported to the FBI, and wasn’t, would be tantamount to guilt.
