Lone thief robs Bank of America in Batavia

A Bank of America in Batavia was robbed Thursday afternoon.

Police said that just before 4 p.m., a white man in a navy hoodie, white Yankees cap and blue jeans fled on foot after robbing the bank. Police said he has a neck tattoo.

The thief did not display or threaten to draw a weapon. There were no injuries. Police said he was headed north on Bank Street.
