Canisius High School's Dan Dallas and Lancaster's LG Castillo, the 2016 and 2017 Prep Talk Players of the Year in baseball, repped for Western New York Wedneday night in an unusual spot: Phoenix, Arizona, where they crossed paths in a professional baseball game.
"Not everyday you get to play against someone from back home! #716," Dallas tweeted after the game.
Castillo was making his professional debut in the Arizona League while his AZL Brewers beat Dallas' AZL Padres, 7-0. Castillo played right field but was held without a hit while Dallas, a pitcher, had the night off.

The Arizona League is a rookie-level league, below Class A. Wednesday's game was the final meeting between the Brewers and Padres this season.
Castillo tweeted before the game that he was wearing No. 57, for the age his grandmother would've turned Wednesday.
Grandma would of turned 57 today.. Pro ball debut tonight! 💞⚾️ pic.twitter.com/2wm7L76ysg
