MONDAY

Genesee County Fair: Today to Saturday, 5056 E. Main St. Road, Town of Batavia. Children’s Day will feature rides from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday for $5. Admission is $5 per carload. For complete list of events, visit gcfair.com/dailyschedule.

Slow Roll Buffalo: Meet at 5:30 p.m., roll at 6:30 p.m., Buffalo Maritime Center, 90 Arthur St. Ten-mile guided ride for all ages, abilities. First-time riders register at slowrollbuffalo.org. Free.

Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired yoga: Yoga at Graycliff. Gentle hatha yoga 6 to 7:15 p.m., Frank Lloyd Wright’s Graycliff Estate, 6472 Old Lake Shore Road, Derby. Jada Blitz Body Boot Camp: 7 p.m., Canalside. Fast paced workout for maximum results. Will sample Balanced Body meals and offer fitness class participants 15 percent off with the code Canalside. Free.

WEDNESDAY

Summer Wellness Social: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mercy Comprehensive Care Center, 397 Louisiana St., featuring free food, music, raffle prizes, health screenings, a visit from Buster Bison, a farmer’s market, and more. The event will celebrate the first successes of the MCCC’s Heart Smart for Life program, a community wellness initiative that launched in January with support from the Mercy Hospital Foundation and a $165,000 grant from the AstraZeneca Healthcare Foundation.

THURSDAY

Joint talk: 5:30 p.m., GreenFields auditorium, 5949 Broadway. Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Marcus Romanowski and Chris Koenig, GreenFields president & CEO, will discuss joint conservation, preoperative planning and education, and the latest in surgical knee and hip treatments. Free.

FRIDAY

Chowder Chase: 5K run and 3K walk, 7 p.m., St. Mary Catholic Church. 6919 Transit Road, Swormville. Register at score-this.com/all-running.

Roller skating: 7 to 10 p.m., Healthy Zone Rink, Riley Street East Aurora. Visitors can bring their own roller skates or roller blades, but the rink also has purchased 150 pairs of vintage roller skates for rental. Cost is $5 entry for the three-hour session, with $3 for roller skate rental. The rink also offers pickleball, roller hockey, and lacrosse. For more information, visit thinkrink.org.

SUNDAY

The BellyDance Academy fitness class: Aerobic-style fitness with Belly Dance moves, 9 a.m., East Canal, Canalside, 44 Prime St. Learn as you work out. You may be surprised how slightly changing your fitness routine can challenge your muscles. No experience needed. Free.
