A Buffalo man with two prior convictions for driving while intoxicated was charged with two counts of felony DWI Friday night after a one-car crash on the Interstate-190, state police said.
David A. Rogers, 41, also had marijuana in his possession following a crash at about 8:15 p.m. near the Niagara Street exit of the I-190, police said. Authorities did not say in which direction on the highway Rogers was travelling.
Rogers registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.14 percent, according to police. In addition to the two DWI charges, he was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and several vehicle and traffic violations, police said.
Rogers' prior convictions both came within the last 10 years, police said. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Buffalo City Court on Monday.
