Morning Pitch: Bisons and Scranton meet Friday night

The Buffalo Bisons are looking to break a nine-game losing streak to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. The New York  Yankees affiliate has won the last nine meetings after the Herd took the first five games in the season series.

Game time: 7:05 p.m. (Gates open 5 p.m.)

Promotion: fridaynightbash! with food and beer specials from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Craft Beer Corner. It's also "Saved by the Bell Night" celebrating the 1990s television show. Post-game fireworks.

Weather: Mixed clouds and sun with scattered thunderstorms and a 50 percent chance of rain during the day with a high of 76, according to weather.com. Scattered thunderstorms in the evening with a low of 65.

Quick hits: Scranton 6, Bisons 1

Probables: The Bisons are scheduled to start righty Cesar Valdez while Scranton will counter with lefty Deitrick Enns.

Last game: Scranton earned a 6-1 win over the Bisons at Coca-Cola Field on Thursday.

Prospects: Righty Chance Adams, rated the No. 8 Yankees prospect by Baseball America, is scheduled to start on Saturday for the RailRiders.
