A longtime school administrator in Williamsville will lead Bishop Timon–St. Jude High School during the next school year.
Linda L. Cimusz has been named interim principal at the boys Catholic high school on McKinley Parkway for the 2017-18 academic year.
Cimusz was appointed chief academic officer in Buffalo during the 2014-15 school year, before leaving for Rochester, where she ultimately became interim superintendent of city schools. She previously worked for 15 years as an assistant superintendent for instruction with the Williamsville Central School District.
“I am honored to join the strong Timon family and tradition," she said. "I look forward to working with a school and community that so highly values and appreciates educational excellence and the Franciscan values of inclusiveness and respect for all.”
