Connolly Cup finalist and second team All-Western New York running back Dylan McDuffie tweeted that he is returning to Sweet Home after playing last season with St. Francis.
McDuffie helped the Red Raiders reach the Monsignor Martin final after rushing for 1,255 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also caught 25 passes for 290 yards and three touchdowns -- his only season with the program after transferring to St. Francis following his sophomore season with Sweet Home.
McDuffie is among the talented Class of 2018 prospects from the area with a chance to play Division I football as he has received 13 offers. His suitors include Mid-American Conference schools Western Michigan, Central Michigan and Ohio.
