PITTSBURGH -- FC Buffalo rallied for three second-half goals to score a come-from-behind victory, 3-2, over Fort Pitt Regiment on Sunday at Highmark Stadium. the victory left FC Buffalo with a 4-4-3 record and 15 points in the East Conference Division of the National Premier Soccer League. Buffalo has gone 4-2-1 in its last seven games after an 0-2-2 start.
Braden Scales scored the game-winner for Buffalo in the 83rd minute after goals by Akeal Shackleford in the 49th minute and an own-goal that went in off Fort Pitt defender Matthew McDyer in the 75th minutes.
Shackleford's goal came off a free kick by Fox Slotemaker.
Fort Pitt beat Buffalo goalkeeper Jeremy Figler twice in the firsts half. Andres Vega scored in the 23rd minute and Nicholas Kolaric tallied in the 34th minutes.
FC Buffalo will close its regular season schedule with a key game against AFC Cleveland on Friday at Robert E. Rich All High Stadium at 7 p.m. Cleveland (6-4-1, 19 points) lost to Erie, 1-0, on Sunday. The Commodores are 6-2-2 for 20 points. Dayton Dynamo (6-3-3, 21 points) has completed its regular season. Rochester (5-4-2, 17 points) will finish its regular season at home against Erie next Saturday afternoon.
